MIKE Brumage and Les Bond won Evesham Golf Club seniors’ Ray Till Tankards competition with a score of plus one.
Twenty-six members took part in the annual event, which is a greensomes bogey in which pairs of golfers have to score nett par for a half and better than nett par for a win.
This is a difficult format as teams are playing against the course as well as the rest of the field and is made more difficult as the competition was played off the white tees.
Runners-up on countback were Bryan Rogers and John Smith on level, ahead of third placed Dave Kewley and Peter Ratledge who were also level.
