LOCAL football club Inkberrow are now an Equality Charter Standard Club and are supporting the Kick It Out campaign.

Girls and ladies’ secretary Mark Wilkinson said “This is a great opportunity for our club to show their commitment to creating a more inclusive game for anyone and football should be for everyone.

“By signing to the Charter we are making a promise to promote equality and take active steps to tackle discrimination at any level.”

Inkberrow have been an advocate of girls and ladies’ football for 10 years and this runs alongside the boys and men’s section.

The next step is to bring in more diversity to the club.
