EVESHAM laid down a marker of their intentions for next season as they pushed promoted hosts Malvern all the way before succumbing to a 22-15 Midlands Two West (South) defeat on Saturday.
In what is expected to be the seventh-placed Avonsiders’ final match of the season due to the fact Droitwich are now confirmed as champions, Nathan Chambers’ side were highly impressive against their Worcestershire rivals who have lost just three matches on their way to finishing runners-up and are the only side to defeat Droitwich.
