BROADWAY Golf Club’s ladies’ annual Christmas hamper run took place in bitterly cold conditions but this proved no obstacle to Linda Carruthers who won Division One with an impressive 20 points.
Elsewhere in the nine-hole Stableford, Sonia Ward was first in Division Two with 18 points, in Division Three Bev Howard topped the pile with 17 points and Helen Pearcey clinched top spot in Division Four with 19.
Second prizes went to Sheila Lawson with 18 points, Louise Folkes and Angela Sollis, both with 16, and Gill Carr on 18 points.
