PERSHORE Town have been drawn at home to Littleton in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase.

The Plums will host their Hellenic League Division One rivals at the Community Stadium on Saturday, August 27.

And the winners of the tie will receive £550 whilst the losing side will pick up £160.

The second qualifying round draw has also taken place with the winners set to host AFC Bridgnorth on Saturday, September 24 with a place in the first round proper up for grabs.

And Pershore have also been handed a home draw in the FA Youth Cup with the Plums set to entertain Walsall Wood in the week commencing Monday, August 29.

It has been a busy off season for the club under boss Danny Janes who led Pershore to a treble of cup victories last season – lifting the Worcestershire Senior Cup, Hellenic League Supplementary Cup and Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup.

The young manager has added former Worcester Raiders captain Logan Stoddart to his squad whilst Josh Willis and Jordan Adams have both returned to the Community Stadium.

And Janes has secured the services of goalkeeper Eddie Cox, star midfielder Sam Clark, key defender Kirk Layton and influential winger James Baldwin for the upcoming season.

However, Pershore’s success has seen Matt Nutt join a step three club and Jake Cavens move up to step five whilst Roland Krol has also departed the Plums.
