EVESHAM made it two wins from two in Midlands Two West (South) as they defeated visitors Silhillians 15-10 on Saturday.
Evesham, one of five teams to have won their opening two games, return to action at Coventry side Barkers Butts on September 29.
Evesham Reserves built on two convincing home wins with a 58-7 victory at Bridgnorth 3rds in the Midland Reserve League.
The visitors took the lead on seven minutes with a fine try from No 8 Mike Ainsworth, before Ben Capaldi’s penalty increased the advantage for Evesham, who went on to reach the interval with a 32-7 lead.
Bridgnorth were much-improved in the second half but firm Evesham defence kept them at bay and the Vale side had no trouble increasing their advantage.
Particularly impressive for Evesham were Ainsworth and youngsters James Cross and Harrison Walker.
Next up for Evesham Reserves is a visit to Spartans (Midlands).
