A SCORE of 23 over 13 holes proved enough for Marlene Billings and Pat Saville to win the Nora Olsen Cups at Evesham Golf Club.
The ladies competed in surprisingly pleasant weather for a January day as 12 pairs tackled the foursomes challenge.
Margaret Williams and Dinah Wood were edged into second place on countback.
The day continued with the ladies’ AGM, followed by a two-course dinner when presentation of the cups was made by lady captain Eunice Allen.
