CARING youngsters at St Egwins CE Middle School have linked up with charity and collected a whopping 500 plus items for local foodbank, Caring Hands in the Vale.
Students have also focused on their own community and have delivered hampers to people in the local area full of a selection of goodies for Christmas.
Staff, students and parents have collected almost 1,000 items which will all go towards others having a lovely Christmas.
Teacher Laura Keogh said: ” There has been a real community spirit in school this December with the focus on humility and the gift of giving.
“It has been amazing to see so many donations making their way through St Egwin’s doors to help our own school community and the wider community in Evesham.
The schools eco team are already planning how they can continue to support Caring Hands as one of their charities in 2020.
