A THREE car crash on Fish Hill resulted in a woman being trapped in her car and left another vehicle on its side.

Emergency services, including police, paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene at about 12.42pm this afternoon.

The crash involvedĀ a red Suzuki estate, silver Honda saloon and a Dodge people carrierĀ leaving the road partially blocked.

One of the cars was left on its side. Firefighters had to use small cutting gear to free a woman who was trapped inside her car.

One of the drivers, a woman in her 80s, has been taken to Cheltenham General Hospital after suffering from chest and back pain.

A man in his 30s, a driver of one of the other cars, has suffered minor leg injuries and is making his own way to hospital.

The road was closed for sometime but later reopened at about 2.245pm.

A police spokesman said: “Officers at the scene managed traffic and fire and ambulance services also attended due to reports of someone potentially being trapped in a vehicle.

“One woman is reported to be experiencing shoulder pain but there are no reports of any serious injury and everyone is safely out of the vehicles.”
