Witness appeal after Market Place assault

A 29-YEAR-OLD man was attacked outside a pub on Market Place and taken to hospital with head injuries.

The victim was assaulted between midnight and 12.30am last Sunday, May 20, after he was approached by another man outside the venue.

He was then punched in the face which caused him to fall backwards. He is currently in hospital.

The suspect is described as a man in his early twenties, with dark hair and a stocky build. He was believed to be wearing a white t-shirt.




Witnesses are being urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident reference 27s of 20 May 2018 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
