WALKERS are being challenged to put on their walking boots and trek the 31-mile Worcestershire Way in aid of St Richard’s Hospice – in just one day.
The journey will begin in Bewdley at 6am on July 5, with participants striding their way across the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
There will be a stop at The Talbot at Knightwick before trekkers takes on the slopes of the Malvern Hills.
Alison Parkes, St Richards Hospice fund-raiser, said: “It could be a brilliant team-building exercise, or a day out with family and friends enjoying our county’s beautiful countryside.
“Either way, we’re sure it will be a day to remember.
“This is a fantastic challenge for keen walkers and novices alike, leaving you with a great sense of achievement.”
Last year’s event saw 139 walkers take part raising a staggering £33,000 for the hospice to help it continue to provide free hospice care for patients and their families.
