A VAN driver who passed the scene of a collision in which a 57-year-old man died is being asked to come forward.

West Mercia Police is continuing to appeal for witnesses or information following a fatal collision near Evesham last Tuesday (June 25).

Police were called at 6.45am to a collision on the A46 Cheltenham Road near Beckford, between a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a pedestrian who was tending to his DAF flatbed lorry.

It’s believed the Vectra had been travelling in the direction of Evesham.

Pedestrian, 56-year-old Graham Edmunds from Gloucestershire, died at the scene.

Investigating officers would like to speak to the driver of the van pictured, as it drove past the collision and they may have information which could help with enquiries.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or the manner in which the Vauxhall Vectra was being driven prior to the incident.

Anyone with information can call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident number 83s of 25 June 2019.
