Evesham Editorial 5th Jul, 2020   0

A HOST of Evesham charities were handed a £1,600 boost with donations from Worcestershire Freemasons.

Evesham Volunteer Centre, Caring Hands in the Vale, All Saints Church Evesham Food Bank and Wallace House Community Centre enjoyed a share of the £6,400 handed to local Freemasons by the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Local member Julian Ridgers delivered cheques and revealed his delight at providing a helping hand to the charities to reward them for their outstanding support.

“It’s clear many people are in need of food, help and support. This pandemic is a long running problem, they all do an outstanding job helping people as well as supporting their families through very difficult times,” he said.
