Two women hospitalised following three car crash on major Evesham road

TWO women in their 20s were taken to hospital following a three car crash on a busy Evesham road yesterday evening.

Emergency services, including police and paramedics, were called to the A44 at the junction of Chadbury Road at about 7.23pm last night.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene.

A woman in her 20s, a driver of one of the cars, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital after complaining of abdominal pain.




A second woman in her 20s, a passenger in of the cars, suffered from back pain and was also taken to Worcestershire Royal.

Paramedics also treated another driver, a man in 20s, for neck pain but he was discharged at the scene.


West Mercia Police closed the road for about two and a half hours whilst officers investigated the crash.
