FOUR-LEGGED friends have come in two-by-two at Dogs Trust Evesham after staff revealed they have tackled an influx of doggie doubles coming in to the rehoming centre.
In the last few weeks, four pairs of canine companions have arrived looking for love after finding themselves without forever homes through no fault of their own. Although two of the devoted duos have now found their special someone, the staff are hoping the rest will find their new families at the double.
Husky brothers Blaze and Storm and beagle sisters Poppy and Silver have now found their special someone and are waiting to trot off to their new homes, but the staff are hoping the rest will find their new families soon.
Hebe and Heather are the first pair of Korean Jindos that the rehoming centre has ever seen. They are both nine-years0old and arrived at the rehoming centre due to a change in their owners’ circumstances.
The duo are described as ‘very sweet’ and are the absolute double of one another. They are friendly, sweet dogs who could live with children over the age of 11.
Unlikely duo, German Shepherd Jessie, age nine, and terrier Wendy, age four, might be at other ends of the size spectrum but they are both bright dogs who love to learn.
They both enjoy fuss and looking for a home when they can let their true personalities shine through. They can potentially live with another dog in the home and could live with children aged 11 and above.
Chris Slight, manager at Dogs Trust Evesham, said: “Our pairs of pooches are all adorable and have so much to offer.
“We are hoping that it won’t be long before some big-hearted dog lovers with enough room on their sofas fall in love, twice over.”
“All of these pairs are very attached to each other and we of course know taking on a doggie duo means double the responsibility, but it also means double the love and double the fun! We are very much hoping local dog lovers will find room in their hearts, and in their homes, for these devoted duos.”
