COMMEMORATIONS to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice saw Evesham fall silent to remember the fallen

Remembrance Sunday (November 10) featured a parade through the town centre in Evesham before a service of remember all those who gave their lives.

Former service personnel and local uniformed groups such as the town’s Sea Cadets gathered outside Iceland at 10.15am before the parade to the War Memorial in Abbey Park at 10.50am.

All of those gathered then observed the two minute silence at 11am before the wreath-laying ceremony.

Following the Act of Remembrance, the band then led the ex-service standard bearers, the civic party and the uniformed organisations to All Saints’ Church for a service of remembrance.
