VALE voters unable to get to a polling station to vote in the upcoming General Election but who still want to have their say, are being reminded they can still register for a proxy vote.
Although the deadline for applying to vote by post has now passed, voters can still nominate someone else to make their mark on the ballot paper for them – known as voting by proxy – if they will be unavailable on December 12.
Anyone can be chosen to act as a proxy as long as they are eligible to vote.
