Spectacular bonfire and firework displays taking place this weekend

CROWDS are set to be wowed by spectacular firework displays and bonfire events taking place across the Vale this weekend.

Evesham Town Council’s annual bonfire celebration kicks off at 6.15pm on Saturday (November 5) on the Corporation Meadow.

The bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm by the Mayor of Evesham Coun Fred Kaler, followed by a firework display at 7.30pm. There will also be entertainment, food stalls and children’s rides.

Tickets cost £4 for adults, children aged six to 12-years old £2 with youngsters under five free. All profits will be going to the Mayor’s charity Wallace House Community Centre.




King George’s Field in Pershore is also hosting the Town Council’s firework display. Admission is free, with the event starting at 5.30pm and the Football Club will be opening at the same time for refreshments.
