Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 4th Apr, 2022   0

LAST week I ordered a new track point for my garden railway.

I received an email from the courier to say that the parcel would be delivered last Monday between 09-15 and 13-15.

I then had an update to say that it would be delivered by the end of the working day.

At 13-57 I received an e-mail to say that the parcel had been left in my porch, which is rather strange because I do not have a porch, but I checked by the front door and there was no parcel.

Knowing that Sat-nav wrongly directs vehicles to the road behind my property, I decided to check my house number on that road.

Sure enough, my parcel had been left there in the porch and the home owner was on their way to bring it to me.

I have always been sceptical of Sat-nav, even though my children have offered to buy me one.

Sadly, so often in life we can be tempted to take for granted so much of what we see and hear, that we can become confused.

When Jesus Christ was here on earth, He lived amongst a people who were so confused because of what they had been instructed and told by those people who should have known better.

As we read the Bible we can see the truths that God the Father wants us to know and then the whole meaning for life becomes so clear.
