OVER a number of weeks, new gas pipes are being laid in our road.
It is not too much of a problem for us because we live in a cul-del-sac with very little traffic.
The inconvenience is more to pedestrians as the pipes are being laid under the pavements and there are holes everywhere.
In other parts of our village it is more of a problem because of traffic flow which of course causes holdups and frustrations to the motorists.
We realise that the pipes have to be changed to meet current standards as the original ones have been there for decades and are past their ‘sell by date’.
During the time that Jesus Christ lived on earth, the Jewish Nation had been subject to tremendous change because of the Roman Army occupation of their land.
People were fed up with the bondage and wanted a change.
Jesus came to bring that change but although the masses accepted His teaching, the Ruling Parties were totally against Him. Today that same message of Love, Joy and Peace from God the Father is still available to us. It has not changed down through the centuries. It has not passed its ‘sell by date’.
