Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 22nd Nov, 2021   0

THE other day I was sitting in my car waiting in the queue for the car wash at the local supermarket.

When I was next but one in line the young woman in the car in front got out to check the control panel to see what she had to do.

As she got back in to her car she patted the head of a large black dog which was leaning out of the open back window.

I said to my wife, who was sitting next me, “I hope she closes the window before she goes into the wash, otherwise there will be a very wet dog inside”.

It is so easy to do things or even to forget to do certain tasks which can cause ourselves and others problems and difficulties.

“If only I had thought before I ‘jumped’,” is the remark we often hear.

It is always good to attempt to rectify any bad situation which we have caused because we were not thinking correctly at the time.

Jesus Christ came to show us how to make amends with other people and to straighten things out.

He is able to do this because He came to give us a new experience and outlook in our lives, so that we can live right with Him and God, His Father.

Just as Jesus helped so many people when He walked upon the earth, He can do the same for us today.
