Something to Think About

Evesham Editorial 31st Oct, 2021   0

THIS week I had to purchase a new computer as my old one, which was ten years old, had finally passed its sell by date and stopped functioning.

Having purchased a new one I commissioned one of my grand daughters, who is a ‘whizz kid’ on computers, to set it all up for me.

Of course, after only having the machine for one day, I am still finding my way around it and this week especially the editor will have to be extra vigilant in his checking for spelling and grammar mistakes in this column.

I am so grateful for my granddaughter’s computing skills as she has helped my wife and I on numerous occasions in the past, as we are computer literate with a small ‘c’ and a small ‘l’.

In life, it is always good to know someone who can help us with any problems and difficulties that we encounter in our daily walk.

In the Bible we read of countless people who were facing various problems in their lives and God stepped in and met them at their point of need.

As you read this column today, you may be facing difficulties and anxieties and wondering which way to turn, but be assured that God, through His Son Jesus Christ, is there to bless you as you say a prayer in the Saviour’s Name.
