HISTORY can be very fascinating especially if the person expounding a particular subject can make it come alive by their presentation and deliverance.
Someone said to me recently their history teacher at school really did make the subject come alive. I seem to remember mine was somewhat on the boring side and therefore not a lot sunk in.
In recent days I have had the privilege of being involved in some Zoom lectures which have been really stimulating and exciting and certainly brightened up the times that we are presently living in.
Of course, some of the past can be boring and not very pleasant but to delve deeper into other parts can be the means of helping us to understand the various situations in our world today.
In the Bible we read of Jesus Christ and His Story which brings us from the past into present day.
Reading the stories surrounding the life and death of Jesus, we begin to realise just how important it is to accept the truth of what it means to know him as Lord and Saviour in our lives.
The lives of multitudes of different people were changed by an encounter with the Son of God as he walked amongst them.
Today, we can experience a blessing in our own lives by simply lifting up a prayer to God in Jesus’ name
