WHEN planning our Easter weekends a few weeks ago, who would have thought we would experience the beautiful weather we did. Glorious ‘wall to wall’ sunshine.
The weather, the source of numerous conversations, can be so unpredictable and in some areas can change within an hour or so.
Situations in our lives can be like that, changing so suddenly and often so dramatically causing us to walk a completely different path to the one in which we had planned.
Sadly last weekend in Sri Lanka hundreds of lives have been totally changed forever because of the violence of terrorists, who were intent on the carnage, misery and pain that their actions caused.
Two thousand years ago the streets of Jerusalem were filled with the crowd calling for the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and yet just a few days previously they had shouted and hailed him as their Lord and King.
How fickle can we humans be?
Yet what appeared to be total devastation, turned out to be life changing and life giving for the millions of people down through the centuries that have accepted his wonderful love and salvation.
Whilst there are still those today who would shout “Crucify him”, we know that his love and salvation is there available for each one of us to accept and experience in our daily lives.
