A REFORM Party UK council candidate has condemned the state of neglected footpaths in Woodlands,
Evesham.
Matt Snape, who is contesting the Evesham South seat during this year’s Worcestershire County Council
election, attacked both the Conservatives and the Greens for allowing the state of the Evesham
footpaths to deteriorate.
He added: ‘I brought this issue to the press’s attention towards the end of last year, which means the
Conservatives have had ages to deal with the state of Woodlands’ paths, and they have done nothing
about it.
‘The same goes for the Greens. I thought that they cared about the environment and that they would
provide a fresh pair of eyes to Evesham South’s problems, but they have also failed to tackle this
important issue.
‘If I get elected, then I pledge to sort this situation out. It is time for less talk and more action.’
The Reform Party UK candidate said that the state of one footpath has got worse as grass was now filling the crack going through the walkway.
Mr Snape has led numerous litter-picking sessions in Woodlands.
