KIND-HEARTED Pershore Tennis Club served up success and raised just under £1,000 for Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven at their annual charity tournament.
All dressed in pink, 40 women from different tennis clubs across the county attended the evening on November, 16, which saw £988 raised for the state-of-the-art breast unit at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Jane Warner, tournament director at the club, has hosted the fund-raiser for the last three years and was delighted with the amount of women involved, including Fiona Charny, the chair of Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign.
The club also recently raised £1,000 for Children in Need through their annual evening of fun, where members dressed up and took part in a variety of activities.
