TWO Evesham seats in Wychavon District council have been decided after residents went to the polls to vote in by-elections on August 29.
The votes followed the resignations of former Wychavon District Council leader Bradley Thomas after he was elected as MP for Bromsgrove at the recent UK general election, and psychologist Philippa Capel, due to work commitments. They were both Conservatives.
Harvington and Norton went Independent with candidate Craig Reeves and Badsey and Aldington remained Conservative with Mark Ward beating the Lib Dems by a majority of 22.

Political representation now stands at the Conservatives, 28; Liberal Democrats, 7; Green Party, 6; Labour, 1 and Independent, 1.
