A MOTORCYCLIST who collided with a parked van in Evesham on Sunday afternoon (May14) was airlifted to hospital.
The crash happened on Davies Road, at the junction with Falkland Road at about 1.15pm.
Two air ambulances, one from Cosford and the other from Strensham, was called to the scene.
The 26-year-old rider suffered from head, chest and pelvic injuries and was airlifted to the Major Trauma Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The road was closed for several hours and was re-opened by officers from West Mercia Police at 7.45pm Sunday evening.
