Motorcyclist dies after crashing into a tree near Pershore

A MOTORCYCLIST in his 30s has died after he left the road and crashed into a tree near Pershore.

It happened at 5.54pm yesterday on Woollas Hill in Eckington.

The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham where he sadly died.

His next of kin and the coroner have both been informed.




Officers from West Mercia Police investigating the incident are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw the vehicle, and the manner in which it was being driven, before the collision happened.

Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident number 546S of Sunday, June 11.
