THE MAYOR of Evesham was on hand to cut the ribbon and open the re-launched Morrison’s on Davies Road today.
Coun Richard Jones helped the supermarket celebrate the revamp as part of a packed day of events.
After the ribbon cutting, youngsters from St Richard’s First School were on hand for a medley of songs to entertain customers.
A free raffle for the first 247 customers and special cupcakes and tasters will be given out during the day.
And customers at the checkouts who heard the beep enjoyed the fun of checkout bingo every hour which saw a shopper and the till operator rewarded with prizes.
