A DEVOTED Evesham fund-raiser has been honoured for her efforts with an award from grateful staff at Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Mandy Edwards received a silver salver in recognition of more than 17 years of cash collection in which she and her band of helpers have raised more than £27,000.
Her daughter Bethan has received continuous care from the hospital following major open-heart surgeries when she was born 18 years ago.
“Mandy is a brilliant advocate for our charity and has shared Beth’s story with national press to get the word out about our amazing hospital. Mandy, you’re nothing short of inspiring,” the citation read.
This year’s craft fair to raise money for the hospital will be held on November 19.
