A MAN has been charged with drink driving after he was discovered by officers drinking at the wheel of his car.
Officers from West Mercia Police’s Local Policing Priority Team South came across a car struggling to drive at more than 20 miles per hour yesterday (Sunday).
After being pulled over, officers made the discovery and asked the driver to take a breath test at the roadside which came back at 61 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit is 35.
The driver was arrested and once in custody he retook the test which delivered came back at 55 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
