Juliette lops locks off for two top causes

A KIND-HEARTED Evesham woman has had her head completely shaved to raise cash for two charities.

Juliette Swainson lost her long brown hair at the town’s Tesco superstore and she has now donated her locks to the Little Princess Trust so it can be used to make wigs for children suffering with hair loss due to cancer treatment.

Ms Swainson also raised £329 for three-year-old Ben Harris-Bell, who has Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and cannot walk unaided, but a costly operation in America would reduce stiffness, stop pain and give him the chance to sit, crawl and walk.

Emma Bell, Ben’s mum said: “I would like to thank Juliette for doing this charitable event.

“It was fun but also a little bit emotional to see what she was doing for two charities and to see how supportive her family were.

“I didn’t know Juliette before this event.

“She contacted me via Facebook to say what she wanted to do and I’m just so thankful.”
