Help is on hand for leukaemia patients hit in the pocket

Evesham Editorial 25th May, 2021   0

LEUKAEMIA patients and those suffering from similar blood-related diseases are being invited to apply for a grant from a much-loved Evesham charity.

The Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust is offering grants to help families tackle the financial difficulties due to a long-term illness.

Among the extra costs incurred is the need for numerous hospital visits and travelling expenses required.

Charity founder Sue Sollis said: “Normal daily life can be seriously disrupted and extra expense incurred as a result.

“We intend to reduce this worry by providing help to those who fit the eligible criteria.”
