CARING staff at JellyPickleJam Vintage Tea and Gift Shop will be brewing up for a good cause as part of the NHS Big Tea.

The much-loved Vine Mews venue will join the nation’s biggest tea break on Friday (July 9) from 11am to 3pm to help raise money for the NHS.

Following a year like no other, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity wants as many people as possible to get involved in a national outpouring of love and thanks for NHS staff and volunteers on its birthday by taking part in the event.

Owner Lisa Whelan said: “This is the very least we can do to demonstrate our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the incredible work of all NHS employees during the pandemic.

“We owe our lives and communities to their selfless hard work”.

The event will collect funds, and include a cake raffle, guess the weight of the cake and slices of special cakes with profits going to the charity will be available to enjoy with a cuppa
