Funeral for Sean to take place in Pershore

THE FUNERAL of a Pershore teenager who passed away hours after he was rescued from the Bilford Top Lock on the Worcestershire and Birmingham Canal will be held on Thursday (May 12).

Sean Stevens, 17, lost his life following the incident on March 31 and will be remembered by family and friends at the service in Pershore Abbey from midday.

Everyone is welcome to attend although a family-only burial will take place following the service.

All are welcome to follow from Abbey to Pershore Town Football Club where the wake will be held.




Sean’s family have asked for flowers from family members only. Donations can be made in Sean’s memory to West Midlands Air Ambulance.
