A FUN dog show will be taking place at this year’s Pershore Carnival.

Organised by the Blue Cross Bromsgrove Rehoming Centre and the Blue Cross shop in Pershore, the show will take place on Monday, May 29 in Abbey Park.

There are nine classes in which entrants will be able enter their four-legged friend including best child handler, best veteran dog, best 6 legs, dog most like its owner, happiest rescue dog, dog with the waggiest tail, dog with the saddest eyes, judges favourite and the coveted best in show award.

The entry fee is £1 per class, with the first event starting at 2pm and there is no need to pre-register.

Josie Taylor from the Blue Cross said: “Last year a lot of people were under the presumption that the show was Kennel Club standard and so didn’t take part, which was a such a shame.

“This year we are really keen to get the message out there that it’s a fun dog show with prizes and goody bags for everyone that takes part.”
