FIREFIGHTERS from across the county battled a fire a thatched-built Charlton cottage.
Crews arrived to find the cottage’s roof alight at around 9.45pm on Sunday night.
Firefighters from Evesham, Pershore, Broadway, Upton upon Severn, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Pebworth and Wyre Forest, along with the Incident Command Unit from Droitwich attended.
Five further crews, from Redditch, Droitwich, Bromyard, Ledbury and Malvern also provided further help arriving at 2.29am.
While there were no casualties from the blaze, firefighters were on the scene for a considerable time to get the fire under control.
