Evesham marketing firm backs 'Think Pink' campaign

AN EVESHAM graphic design and marketing firm has thrown their support behind the ‘Think Pink’ campaign by donning pink clothes and having their picture taken in front of an iconic town landmark.

Areca Design, which is based in Abbey Gate, is supporting the month-long campaign to raise as much money as possible for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven.

Last week the team had their photo taken, dressed in pink, in front of the Almonry Museum after the Vale of Evesham Commerce and Tourism Association urged residents and businesses to do just that in a bid to raise awareness of ‘Pink October.’

The campaign is also urging people to wear pink, get their ‘pinkie’ painted pink or to organise pink-themed events throughout October.

Areca Design managing director Mick Hurst said: “We all know someone who has suffered a cancer of some sort and people often do not realise is that there is a support network for the families of those affected.

“It is important that we raise awareness of these support organisations before they are needed by a family and so the team at Areca Design was happy to help Breast Cancer Support’s ‘Think Pink’ campaign raise their profile by wearing something pink at work.”

Residents and businesses who take part in ‘Pink October’ can send their pictures to alhe08@handels banken.co.uk and [email protected].
