A NUMBER of homes in Evesham which were left without power for seven hours following a cable fault have had their electricity restored.
Engineers from Western Power Distribution were called out after 36 homes in the WR11 2 area were left without power at about 5am this morning.
A spokesman for the WPD said they had repaired the fault in a low voltage underground cable by about 12.55pm and power had been restored.
“All supplies are now showing as restored, with engineers having completed repairs at 12:55,” the spokesman said.
“Our apologies for any inconvenience.”
