VALE residents are being invited to Evesham Teams4U’s annual coffee morning.
The charity, which is encouraging residents to fill shoeboxes with stocking fillers for Romanian, Belarusian and Bosnian orphans, is hosting the coffee morning this Saturday (November 19) at its warehouse on Davies Road.
Dave Cooke, founder of Teams4U, will be at the warehouse and will also attend a ‘Meet Dave Cooke’ event at Pershore Baptist Church on the night, to share his story on how he started the ‘Christmas Shoebox Appeal’ more than 25 years ago.
More than 3,500 shoeboxes have already been delivered to the warehouse.
The coffee morning will run from 10am to 2pm and the ‘Meet Dave Cooke’ event will start at 7.30pm.
