A 73-YEAR-OLD man had to crawl out of the windscreen of his car which had rolled over after he hit ‘large boulders at speed.’

It happened at the entrance to The Valley at about 9.20am this morning.

Before emergency services arrived at the scene the 73-year-old man had already been helped out of the Toyota RAV4, which was on its side, by passers-by.

Two fire engines from the Evesham station were called out to make the vehicle safe.

The 73-year-old man suffered from minor injuries to his head and shoulder and was taken by ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch as a precaution.
