DRIVERS are facing severe delays on the roads in and around Evesham this evening.
It seems the early accident on the A46 at Hinton-on-the-Green crossroads and the three-way traffic lights on Port Street following yesterday’s crash is having a knock on effect on the town’s road network.
There is currently slow moving and queuing traffic from the top of Cheltenham Road all the way down to the Waterside junction.
Drivers are also facing bumper-to-bumper traffic on Davies Road.
There is heavy traffic on the A46 stretching all the way from the Badsey roundabout to the Cheltenham Road roundabout.
The average speed on the stretch of the A46 from the Twyford roundabout to the Badsey roundabout is currently just 24mph.
And as usual traffic through the town centre, from the railway station down to Abbey Bridge, is also very slow with the average speed just 4mph.
