Dogs Trust rehomes their first dog of 2017

STAFF and volunteers at Dogs Trust Evesham have celebrated rehoming their first four-legged friend of 2017.

Ren, a four-year-old beagle, has been taken in by couple Andrew and Louise White from Gloucester, after only coming into the Wickhamford rehoming centre last month.

He now lives with fellow beagles Mylo and Louis, who were adopted from Dogs Trust Evesham three years ago.

The centre rehomed more than 750 dogs in 2016 and is expecting another busy year of taking in unwanted four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes.

Mr White said: “He’s such a sweet-natured dog and is already settling in with his doggy brothers. We’re looking forward to making 2017 the best year ever for him.”

Chris Slight, Dogs Trust Evesham rehoming centre manager, said: “We’re so pleased Ren has found his forever home and got the new year off to a cracking start. We know he’ll be very happy with his new owners.”

Call the centre on 0300 303 0292 for more information on the charity.
