Crews called to rescue dog from car as temperatures rise

Evesham Editorial 18th Sep, 2020 Updated: 18th Sep, 2020   0

A DOG needed to be rescued from a locked car at The Valley as temperatures topped 20 Celsius across the Vale.

Firefighters were called yesterday (Thursday) at 4.08pm to rescue the poor pooch.

A car can become as hot as an oven very quickly according to the RSPCA, even when it doesn’t feel that warm.

When it’s 22 degrees, in a car it can reach an unbearable 47 degrees within the hour.
