VOLUNTEERS at the town’s Repair Cafe have revealed they have closed their doors because of the ongoing Coronavirus crisis.
A team of electricians, seamstresses and other specialists are on hand each month to fix items such as toasters, lamps, hair dryers, clothes, bikes, toys, crockery and much more.
The scheme, which originally started in Amsterdam in 2010, is run by volunteers at Evesham Methodist Church and has been going strong since 2014.
But the group will respect the Government’s advice to help tackle the COVID-19 virus and will return on a later date.
