A CELEBRATION to mark the countdown to Christmas will be on offer when Churches Together in Evesham and District hold their advent celebration.
Music lovers can get into the festive spirit from 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) at All Saints Church.
Christmas music played by the Evesham Concert Band with the Engage Youth Choir from Evesham Baptist Church will be on offer.
The event is to raise money for the Caring Hands in the Vale’s Lighthouse Appeal.
Demand for the Caring Hands Foodbank, the baby bank and family bank has seen a dramatic increase this year and the Lighthouse Appeal is to help them secure a permanent base which can also be used as ‘drop in’ centre as well as providing an overnight cold weather shelter for the homeless and rough sleepers.
Tickets will be available on the door for £3 each and there will be an opportunity to find out more about the appeal during the afternoon.
