BOSSES at The Valley have dug deep to become the main sponsor of Evesham’s annual carnival which will take place on June 30.
This year will be the 90th anniversary of the first carnival in the town and the Vale of Evesham Round Table and Carnival Committee are delighted with the new partnership.
Adam Spiers, chairman of Evesham carnival committee, said: “With The Valley now being our main sponsor it has ensured the event can be even bigger for the town, allowing us to showcase all of the local groups and charities taking part.”
“Some 18 floats and more than 150 walking participants are already confirmed, who will dance, sing and entertain the crowds along the two mile route around the town.
