MOTORISTS are being warned of disruption on Albert Road until the end of the week as highways workers investigate the Evesham road.
The road is closed, except for emergency service access, between its junction with Bewdley Lane as far as its junction with Avon Street and Blind Lane.
It’s expected to remain closed until at least 3.30pm on Friday (October 14) as engineers dig down to find and repair a defect in the carriageway.
Resurfacing will also be needed on completion of the work and diversions are in place.
