PERSHORE Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) are getting set to take to the stage for their giant Christmas pantomime of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Come and follow Jack, his hapless brother Simple Simon, and their mother Dame Trot, as they climb the beanstalk to Cloud Land in this spectacular family pantomime at
Pershore Number 8 Community Arts Centre, from Monday, December 4 to Saturday, December 9.
Can Jack outwit the ghastly giant and his evil sidekick Desdemona to save the beautiful Princess and win riches beyond his wildest dreams?
This is a true family classic, brought to life by incredibly talented actors and actresses to enhance the magical adventure.
Founded in 1989, PODS is now in its 28th year of entertaining local audiences with professional, quality musical shows and variety performances, suiting all ages and tastes.
The event starts at 7.30pm each evening and includes a 2.30pm matinée on the Saturday.
Tickets cost £11 for the Monday and Saturday matinée viewings, £13 for the Tuesday to Thursday shows and £15 for the Friday and Saturday evening viewings, which all include an 85p booking fee if bought online.
